I don’t know whether this piece of the man’s bio is true or apocryphal or is an urban legend of some kind made up on this side of the Aegean, but apparently/supposedly Erdoğan worked for a Greek bakali when he was growing up in Kasımpaşa.
Let’s hope, for our sake, that he was a nice man.
